An un-atttended BBQ was the cause of fire that tore through a home in South West Edmonton on March 30, 2021. During a very busy night for Edmonton firefighters, this structure fire occurred in the evening. Due to it's distance from any of Edmonton's stations, fire crews raced to the scene to extinguish the fire before it could spread and cause damage to neighbouring units.
