Edmonton Fire crews were called to St. Patrick's Catholic Church on 118th Avenue & 96 Street early in the afternoon on Saturday May 15, 2021. In a Global News report, Edmonton Fire Rescue Services says nobody was in the building at the time and they believe the fire started a the front of the Church. Although there was damage to the veranda, fire crews managed to contain the fire at the front of the church. Neither CTV or Global reports indicated a cause of the fire.
